The highest quality porcelain with a 24 karat gold rim. As a juxtaposition and based on what I see daily outside my studio in Chinatown, Honolulu there is a crackhead inside this bowl. I do not see turtles every day in Hawaii like many imagine when they think of this undeniably gorgeous place. I see drug addicts. When civilization fails some future species is going to find this bowl, "This must be important. It has gold". It is a representation of our culture today. How do we resolve this problem here?
