This sloped porcelain plate is stunning. The rich red glaze on the exterior complements the abstract sakura. This piece could not be any better for sushi but use it how you see fit as there are many settings that it would be great in. Sakura is not native to Hawaii but there is so much Asian culture here that this piece is influenced by it. All of my work is heavily influenced by Japanese and Chinese ceramics through the years. Again, a nod to the OGs of ceramics.
